I was never in agreement to mix my meat with the fruits. Yes dishing it out with vegetables was so right for me but fruits? How can anyone have the sweet nectar all destroying the taste of the wonderful dish placed in front of you? But this thought of mine was changed when I myself tasted and then now I make the proper mix and match in all possible ways where my meat and fruits are involved. The help I got while doing this so was by using Hello Fresh vouchers which took me to another level where cooking was taken as holy thing. I recently tried out few dishes where the fusion was quite visible and they tasted heaven. The right pinch and dash made me the super duper cook which now my family and friend appreciate.

The below mentioned dishes are among the wonderful world of food which are my majors where cooking is involved

  • Seared Steak & Charred Nectarine Salad:

This dish involves the sirloin steak, shallot, pecans, red wine vinegar, feta cheese, nectarine, olive oil and spring mix.

The requirement for the preparation of this dish involves the marinating of the steak with pepper and salt. Keeping it aside for half an hour, the steak can be cooked in a pan on medium heat till the meat is little tender. Keep it aside when you find it all done as per requirement. In the pan then u can put the sliced nectar which needs to cook till charred. Then keep both the steak and nectarine in the preheated oven for about 6-8 minutes. In the meanwhile mix the vinegar, olive oil, pecans shallot and spring mix. Place the steak, nectarine in the dish and pour the mixture on the dished out meal and after that sprinkling the cubes of the feta cheese to the dish. The seasoning can be done with the salt and pepper as per taste. 


  • Thyme and Honey Pork Chops:

Pork chops, balsamic vinegar, shallot, vegetable stock, arugula, peach, thyme, honey, couscous, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Finely chop and dice the peach, thyme and shallot and keep it aside. Now make the seasoning by adding balsamic vinegar, honey and plenty of olive oil. In the pan heat little oil and fry diced shallot and then add water, bring it to boil and add couscous. Cook for some time and then keep it aside. Now put oil in the pan and put the pork steak by sprinkling little salt and pepper for seasoning. Letting it cook by giving 3-4 minutes per side and then keeping it aside in the hot pan for 5 more minute and then slice them thinly. Add the shallot and couscous mixture by adding honey, thyme, vegetable stock ad little salt and pepper to taste. Add arugula and peach to a bowl and pour vinegar on it and toss it well. Place the pork on the dish and put the sauce on the pork while placing the peach and arugula in the side of the dish and enjoy the beautiful combination of the tastes.

  • Grilled Asian Flank Steak with Mango Salad:

Cilantro, sugar, soy sauce, beef steak, lime juice, peanut butter, salt, pepper, lettuce and mango.

Marinade the steak with garlic, ginger, cilantro, fish sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper and keep it aside for an hour. Combine lime juice, peanut butter, little sugar, and peeper in a bowl. Add lettuce and cubed mango to the mix. Your salad is all prepared. Move back to steak. Put the beef on grill rack and put some oil on it, grill for about 5-8 minutes and then let it rest for 5 minutes before dishing it on the plate and then placing the salad in the side of the dish.
